Miami has many cruise ships coming and going from the Port of Miami on a daily basis. Many people are not aware that they have to “turn around” in order to leave the Port again. There is no “throughway” for the large cruise ships. So, either coming or going, these ships must turn around in the middle of Biscayne Bay, just west of the Port of Miami.
Lucky me, I have a front row seat to watch these large cruise ships as they turn in Biscayne Bay, as well as their comings and goings from the Port of Miami. The Carnival Liberty is a beautiful ship and the people are always so excited on board.
