Miami is a great place to explore – especially the Everglades. One Saturday afternoon I was out looking for an abandoned NIKE base in Southwest Miami (aka the Everglades) and when I found the place, it was about 200 yards behind a locked gate. Quite depressing. So, scared to go inside, I was standing there taking some lovely pictures of birds and the reflective water in the canal, then I noticed this alligator which completely caught me by surprise!
So, Gator Surprise is the name of the photo which shows this lovely alligator in Miami’s Everglades (Redlands area). There’s more of my everglades pics from the Redlands on FLICKR you are more than welcome to view as well. Enjoy!
