Haitian Compas Festival 2011 in Miami

Miami has a very rich Haitian community, full of life and culture. Annually, the Compas Festival brings Haitians together to celebrate.

The lead photo is from tonights performance during the 13th Annual Compas Festival in Bicentennial Park and below are several images from the original setup of the stage, to light and sound testing the day prior, and afternoon arrivals to the Compas Festival (May 14, 2011).

The stage gets put into place off the back of a semi.
